My Outlook

As an End-of-Life Doula I believe it’s both an honor and a privilege to be allowed to walk someone home, and I want to assure your dying loved one closes the door to this world with dignity and grace.

I am one more person of support on your care team (along with the hospice staff and doctors) and I will help ensure the best death for your loved one under the circumstances that are given. Together we can make a plan to help support your beloved and make this a reality.

I completed Death Doula training with Going with Grace in December of 2023 and became NEDA proficient in April of 2025.

About My Logo

A line art illustration of the Tree of Life inside of a heart with the words Homebound Heart at the top in a lovely cursive-like script and the words End-of-Life Doula at the bottom in all capital letters.

The logo design for Homebound Heart is the Tree of Life inside of a heart, personally representing the interconnectedness of all living beings (past, present and future). The Tree of Life is a universal symbol found across many cultures and spiritual traditions.

The Tree of Life’s roots dig deep into the Earth, symbolizing grounding and stability, while its branches reach skyward, representing wisdom, aspirations, and connection with the Divine.

My logo was brought to life by the lovely and talented artist Jehan Khateeb of the Greater San Francisco Bay Area.
