My name is Adriana Handono and I’m an End-of-Life Doula, serving the Greater California Bay Area and beyond. As an End-of-Life Doula, or Death Doula as we’re commonly referred to, I act as a beacon of emotional and spiritual support to the constellation of care surrounding a dying loved one and also to the dying person themselves. I’m an advocate for the the dying, doing my best to make sure their needs and last wishes are met.

    — Help with filling out Medical and End-of-Life Care Documents:

    Advance Care Directive forms which include:

    — POLST (Physician Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment) form

    — DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) Orders

    — Durable Power of Attorney for Healthcare (Healthcare Proxy) forms

  • End-of-life Support

    — Bedside vigil and respite care for caretakers and loved ones

    — Help with facilitating goodbyes (helping family and friends express their love and gratitude or other feelings that may arise)

    — Help with practical needs (handling logistics)

  • Final Arrangements & Legacy Projects

    — Funeral and Burial/Cremation Instructions

    — Organization of Obituary or Life Story Notes

    — Digital Asset Plan (instructions for handling social media, email, and online accounts after death)

    — Help with creating a lasting and tangible memento for family and friends to cherish for the rest of their lives

  • Medical Aid in Dying

    — Can help prepare medication along with having another doula present before and after ingestion if this is an option for you or your beloved
